Hi,
Technically all objects in 3.4 can be migrated to EPMDocuments. So all your word and excel files would retain their user defined relationships to Pro/E files.


Why would it be a bad thing to map a .doc file to the EPMDocument type in 9.1?

Hello Andrew,

I have seen many people bring over their docs/excels to EPMDocuments, so as not to contaminate their wtDocuments with Intralink Attributes... Everything you have in Intralink can come across... Windchill just want you to use your workspace with that data since it thinks its CAD Data.
