Hello all, We have a workflow task the has 2 routing options and uses
conditionals to route the workflow.
Option 1 is "Date Set / Routes Assigned" for this option the user sets
an implementation date and routes the workflow via conditional
statements. The date is used to send a notification 3 days before the
implementation date.
Option 2 is "Routes Assigned / No Date required" For this option the
user just sets workflow variables that route the workflow via
conditional statements. the date is not required.
The problem is the date variable. If I make it required then option 2
has an issue. If I make the date not required and the user fails to
enter a date for option 1 the workflow fails because it is looking for a
date.
I would like to use transitions to check for a date when option 1 is
selected. Does anyone have some sample code they can share with me?
