When FloatingPointWithUnits type attribute value is set to null after the creation, upon save and check-in, value is not setting to null.
What's the question? Are you asking why its not null and that you would like it to remain null? Can you illustrate your setup with any constraints or defaults you have setup? Screen shots help.
