We want to restrict publishing of some CAD models having specific keyword in the name. These jobs whenever they reach the CAD worker for publishing it crashes the worker.
Is there a way to restrict these models from getting to worker.?
Sure with customization. Perhaps a better way is to use searches to ID them, then add them to the do not publish list.
Please could you provide little more details on how to do it.
Publish and Thumbnail Control can be used to limit publishing of certain files.
Please could you provide little more details any reference documentation or steps will help.
Hi @BikrantS
How many number objects are currently present?
Will any additional objects be created in the future using this specific keyword?
If the number of objects is limited (around 50–100) and no additional objects will be created in the future, it can be managed through publish and thumbnail control.
However, if there are a larger number of objects, it should be controlled using publish rules.
hi @TDT , Thanks for the hint..
The number is 100+.. please could you share some reference KBs and DOCs on how to do that?
Also, no additional objects will be created with that key word.
Thanks
It’s quite straightforward—you can use the following option under Organization → Utilities.
Also you can get more information from the following link
